Already primed for a robust group of official and unofficial visitors for this weekend in the 2022 and 2023 classes, the Wisconsin Badgers landed an unofficial visit (Editor’s note: we originally wrote that this is an official visit, but it is not) from one of the nation's best safeties on Thursday.
Cristian Driver, a four-star athlete from Argyle, Texas is making a trip to Madison for an unofficial some time in the near future. The son of Green Bay Packers legend Donald Driver, he is no stranger to the Badger state, and he has been one of the top targets for Wisconsin in the 2022 class.
We shall see if his father's strong ties and beloved nature in the state has any pull for the talented playmaker who also has scholarship opportunities from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and USC among many others.

Driver’s name has also been recently linked with Penn State, and as of now, he is scheduled to visit Happy Valley the weekend of June 18. However, the Badgers have the first chance to impress the 6-foot-1 prospect, and the weather is currently sitting pretty for this weekend.
In watching his film he is a difference-maker all over the field and would pair extremely well with 2021 signee Hunter Wohler on the backend of the defense. Also a standout on offense, and in track, Driver is an exceptional athlete and stands atop the Badgers safety board.
Stay tuned for more on Driver’s upcoming visit and for updates on all of the other prospects who will be on campus this weekend for what will be the biggest recruiting period in well over a year.
