The Wisconsin Badgers football program took a while to get into the alternate jersey game, but this most recent addition is, in my humble opinion, pretty dope. The Badgers will be wearing the new uniforms on Sept. 25 when they travel to Chicago to take on Notre Dame in the Shamrock Series.

The Badgers and Fighting Irish were supposed to play at Lambeau Field last year but the whole pandemic thing really put a wrench into, well, everyone’s plans and the game didn’t happen. An interesting note is that Notre Dame was going to be the “home” team at Lambeau and Wisconsin will be the “home team” at Soldier Field this year. Usually the home team would not wear white, but if UW and Under Armor already had these made up for last season’s game...why not use ‘em?

Per our friends over at One Foot Down, Notre Dame usually doesn’t release their alternate Shamrock Series uniforms until August, but since the Badgers already put theirs out there maybe the Irish will follow suit.
Ryan, as you probably expected, will have a full uniform breakdown for you later this week.
