Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly (sometimes more) post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
Badgers make top-three for DT
- 2022 4-star DT K.J. Miles (Jersey City, N.J.) out of St. Peter’s Prep announced his top-three colleges on Wednesday morning and Wisconsin made the cut. The other two schools he is still considering are Texas and Georgia Tech. He has other offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Southern Cal, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and more.
Top 3! It’s been a ride. It wouldn’t have been possible with out the village. Would like to thank my family, coaches, trainers, therapist, friends and most of all my haters lol. My Senior season is gonna be a movie. Edit: @336edits pic.twitter.com/8awzGarChe

Miles is currently ranked as the No. 349 player and No. 31 DT in the nation by the 247 Composite and is also listed as the No. 4 player in the Garden State. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 280 pounds, he’s the type of big body that the Badgers need to get in the 2022 recruiting class.
Wisconsin is the Crystal Ball favorite for Miles on 247, with two predictions, and he will visit his top-three schools in June. He heads to Atlanta on June 11, Madison on June 18 and Austin on June 25.
