On Thursday afternoon, the Big Ten Conference announced the conference opponents for each team in the league for the 2021-22 season. Conference teams will compete in a 20-game conference schedule, playing seven teams both home and away and six teams once (three home and three away).

Dates, times and television information will be announced at a later date. The season will conclude with the 25th annual Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament (March 9-13) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Our Wisconsin Badgers will play three teams at home only:
Iowa
Michigan
Penn State
Three teams away only:
Illinois
Maryland
Northwestern
And seven teams both home and away:
Indiana
Michigan State
Minnesota
Nebraska
Ohio State
Purdue
Rutgers
If you have been able to keep track of which Big Ten teams have improved their roster via the transfer portal and which teams have been decimated (Minnesota), than you are a more vigilant fan than I am. I do know getting Michigan, who will probably be a favorite to get a double-bye in the conference tournament as well as contend for the regular season conference crown, at home is good.
If we were ever made Czar of Big Ten Basketball, Wisconsin would never have to play at Purdue again. https://t.co/m6sXm4cq4P

On the other hand, playing Maryland (who will be contending for the same things as Michigan) only on the road will be tough for a young Wisconsin team. Purdue, Ohio State and Michigan State will probably be the other top teams in the conference next year, and the Badgers will get them home and home.
If you are interested in every other team’s conference schedule, here ya go!
