On Day 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft the first Wisconsin Badgers player was taken when Isaiahh Loudermilk was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round. Later on Saturday, CB Rachad Wildgoose was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round with pick No. 213.

Per our very own Owen Riese, whose scouting report of Wildgoose you can read at the link above:

A late add to the 2018 recruiting class for the Wisconsin Badgers, Rachad Wildgoose was previously committed to the University of Georgia, before flipping to UW. The talented freshman got on the field early for coach Jim Leonhard, as the Miami native quickly climbed the depth chart and was put in critical positions.

After only two games in the 2020 abbreviated season, Wildgoose declared for the 2021 draft. In his Badgers career, Wildgoose accumulated 57 total tackles including 44 solo stops. He had five TFLs, one interception and three fumbles recovered.

The Bills were in need of some help at the cornerback position and Wildgoose could compete for the starting nickelback position from the jump.
