On Tuesday morning, Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel tweeted out that he had a source telling him that Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball assistant coach Alando Tucker would not be returning next season. Tucker has been an interim assistant for UW for the past two season with Howard Moore on leave after being severely injured in a car crash which took the life of his wife and daughter.
We received a tip this AM that assistant coach Alando Tucker might not be back with @badgers next season. Left message with Tucker. No response yet but his twitter page no longer lists him as being on UW staff. Story coming.

We have messaged Tucker and not received a response and Potrykus notes that he has messaged Tucker and Gard, also not receiving an answer.
While I could no longer find the assistant coach job listing on the official UW jobs site, there is still a post on LinkedIn for an open assistant coach job for men’s hoops that was posted 18 days ago. Per the listing it is an “entry level” position, so I’m thinking that I might still have a chance at landing the gig. A UW official told Potrykus that “the search was still being conducted and no one had been ruled in or out.”
We will keep y’all updated if anymore information comes out about this in the coming days.
