The No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers (14-0 overall, 14-0 Big Ten) swept the Michigan Wolverines (4-8 overall, 4-8 Big Ten) into a bottomless pit of despair, winning 25-23, 25-12, 25-11 on Thursday night at the Field House in Madison. The win clinched the Big Ten championship for the Badgers for the second straight year.

We will have a full match recap from Bremen later, but we just wanted to make sure we had a spot for all of us to celebrate another Big Ten title, the seventh in program history, for the volleyball team.
After struggling in the first set with the Wolverines, the Badgers only allowed Michigan to score 23 points (the total UM scored in the first set) in the remaining two sets. After the two matches against Northwestern, which were cancelled earlier this season, were declared as forfeits by the Big Ten and the win on Thursday night, Kelly Sheffield now has 201 career wins as a head coach.
