In a continuation of the strangest football season any of us have ever been a part of, the Wisconsin Badgers will conduct their Pro Day on Wednesday morning (starting around 10:45 a.m. CST) in Madison at the McClain Center in front of NFL scouts but no media. Nine players will be participating and UW will send out official stats and video afterwards.

Here are the nine players that will be participating:

LS Adam Bay
S Eric Burrell
OL Jon Dietzen
RB Garrett Groshek
WR Adam Krumholz
DL Isaiahh Loudermilk
FB Mason Stokke
OL Cole Van Lanen
CB Rachad Wildgoose

It should be noted that Van Lanen and Wildgoose, who were both invited to the virtual NFL Combine, will perform their Combine drills as well since there won’t be an in-person Combine event this season.

While Van Lanen and Wildgoose are the two most likely Badgers to hear their names called during the NFL Draft (most likely Day 3) a couple former UW standouts that could work their way onto teams’ draft boards with strong workouts include Loudermilk, Groshek and Burrell. Players like Stokke, Dietzen and Bay should get looks as undrafted free agents and if Krumholz runs well at Pro Day he could get a look as a special teams kamikaze.

Hopefully Van Lanen can show teams that he can be a productive inside offensive lineman because a number of teams could value him there as he is a superior run blocker. Loudermilk’s size and athleticism will pique some team’s interest while Groshek’s ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and pick up blitzes would be useful for a team looking for a cheap third-down back option.

We will have highlights, pictures and stats from Pro Day once UW releases them later today!
