Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly (sometimes more) post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!

Cutdown list
- The Badgers made the top-three for 2022 4-star OLB Joshua Burnham (Traverse City, Mich.) per his Twitter announcement on Wednesday night. The other two teams that made the cut are Notre Dame and Michigan.

— Josh Burnham (@JoshuaBurnham20) February 12, 2021
By all accounts (both Rivals and 247 project him to Ann Arbor), Burnham is going to end up staying home and picking Michigan but it is nice to see a top OLB recruit respect what Wisconsin has been doing. I mean, the kid has offers from Alabama and Ohio State and neither of them made his top-three.
Burnham is ranked as the No. 114 player in the country by the 247 Composite and the No. 9 OLB. These are the types of players that the Badgers need to be in on, and they have been recently, and now it’s time to start winning a few more of these battles.
