The Wisconsin Badgers have lost two more players to the transfer portal on Thursday morning according to multiple media reports. CB Donte Burton (Loganville, Ga.) and FB Quan Easterling (Akron, Ohio) are the latest Badgers to put their names into the portal in the hopes of finding a new home for next season.
More transfer portal news for Wisconsin. Fullback Quan Easterling and cornerback Donte Burton have entered the portal, The Athletic has learned. That's four players transferring out in the last 10 days.

As Jesse Temple notes in his tweet, Wisconsin has lost four players to the transfer portal in the last 10 days. They have also brought in one player, former Michigan State CB Kalon Gervin, in that same time frame which might have contributed to Burton deciding to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.
The Badgers now lead the country in departures to the transfer portal since Aug. 1, with seven players.
And Wisconsin surges into the lead with the two additions today! https://t.co/EuK5aEBAfh

In case you’ve forgotten, they are: WR Devin Chandler, RB Jalen Berger, RB Antwan Roberts, RB Loyal Crawford and OL Kayden Lyles along with Burton and Easterling. It should be noted that Berger and Crawford were both dismissed from the team and Roberts was suspended when he decided to enter the portal.
For his career, the 5-foot-10 and 183 pound Burton has 26 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 0.5 sacks, one interception (this season against Eastern Michigan) and five passes defended in 27 games (five starts). Easterling, who stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 239 pounds, did most of his work on special teams, but has only played in two games for his career. Both players were listed as primary backups at their respective positions on this week’s depth chart.
We wish both Burton and Easterling well as they search out their new home.
