Led by head coach Paula Wilkins, the Badgers will face a balanced slate of matchups, with six road games and five “home” games, though the exact location of such games, be it on campus in Madison, or elsewhere in Wisconsin, is yet to be determined.
Wisconsin is considered by many to be the team to beat in the conference this year, as they look to improve on a 2019 season in which they went undefeated in the regular season, but suffered an upset loss to Purdue in the Big Ten tournament. On a national scale, last season’s Badgers made it to the “Sweet 16” of the NCAA tournament, but were eliminated by second seed UCLA.

Two matchups Wilkins and co. will likely have circled in red will be against two of the three other Big Ten teams in last season’s final RPI top-20- a strong Michigan side that should be returning B1G Midfielder of the Year Sarah Stratigakis and a Rutgers team that should maintain the place they’ve held as one of the top teams in the conference since they joined in 2014.
While the exact location remains unknown, the Badgers will kick off the new season at home against the Iowa Hawkeyes on February 20th.
