Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly (or more often since we are in Uncertain Times and there aren’t actual sports going on) post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
Current commit highlights
- 2021 4-star TE Jack Pugh (Hilliard, Ohio) had a great game last Thursday against Olentangy Orange. Pugh snagged two touchdowns, including the one in the video below that capped off a 99-yard drive and gave Hilliard the lead with just 28 seconds left. Sadly for Pugh, if you keep watching the video you see that Olentangy executes a perfect hook and lateral with under five seconds to go to win the game. Hilliard fell to 1-4 on the season.

- 2021 3-star CB Ricardo Hallman (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) picked off his first pass of senior year to help his team (TRU Prep Academy, here’s an article explaining why he’s playing there and not with his high school) to a big win over Akelynn Christian Academy.

- 2021 3-star DE/OLB Ayo Adebogun (Thiensville) was a terror against West Bend West High School this past Friday racking up two sacks and returning a fumble he forced for a touchdown.
Wisconsin recruit Ayo Adebogun has two sacks already and also returned a West fumble 56 yards for a @GoHHSathletics TD. 7-0 Highlanders 4:35 in first. @WBDNSports
