OK, so, if you’ve been living under a social media quarantine for the last few days you missed out on the weekend’s news that several of the Big 10’s return-to-play committees had meetings Saturday and Sunday. Everybody said they went supes positive but like, what does that even mean you know? Were there high-quality safety standards put in place to ensure rapid testing and information around preventing long-term effects of this dump virus, or did everyone successfully connect to Zoom at the scheduled time?

OK, then Sunday people were like hey, maybe we could vote on football! But then the Real Chancellors of The Midwest were like, we talked about it, but realized that the last time we voted it didn’t go great so now we’re all going to agree on it.

So now, just like that awesome rap musical Hamilton says, “you don’t have the votes” so they decided to “fight it out in the media.”

BUT WAIT Y’ALL, right when the Quad B herself, Big-time Badger Becky Blank was preaching a newfound message of togetherness and unity, Nebraska’s president Ted Carter forgot the number one rule of reality TV - you are always being recorded. A vote’s happening tonight for Big 10 Football!

Now, how are they going to have this group decision when Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway seems pretty locked in to a no vote!

DRAAAMAAAA!

Will the vote actually take place? Will they even agree what a largely consensus decision looks like? Is former commissioner Jim Delaney going to surprise the group with a last-minute “We’re back to only going to the Rose Bowl” offer they can’t refuse?

There is just so much at stake this season. The stakes have never been higher!
