Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly (or more often since we are in Uncertain Times and there aren’t actual sports going on) post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
Decision time announced
- 2021 3-star WR Skyler Bell (The Bronx, N.Y.) out of The Taft School (Watertown, Conn.) announced that he would be making his commitment on Sunday, August 16th last week, but on Tuesday evening he specified that noon (presumably ET) on Instagram would be where it all goes down.
Will be committing Sunday at 12 on my instagram. IG: juiicebell !! See ya soon

Bell has a final five schools of Wisconsin, Iowa, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Currently all of the Crystal Balls on 247Sports are for Iowa, but none have come in or been changed since April and obviously a lot has happened since then.
The 6-foot-1 and 185 pound wideout has had some nice things to say about Wisconsin so it would appear that the Badgers are definitely still in it to win it. Wide receivers coach Alvis Whitted has made him the top priority and I think that’s one of the reasons that he didn’t commit to Iowa back in the spring.
One thing is for sure, his potential future QB wants him to come to Madison.

We will keep you posted with any and all information leading up to his commitment time and, obviously, we’ll have a post if he chooses the Badgers.
