Former Wisconsin Badgers (and UW-Stevens Point, go Pointers!) left tackle Ryan Ramczyk was named one of the best 100 players in the NFL over the weekend. Ramczyk, who now plays at right tackle for the New Orleans Saints, made his debut at No. 82 on the annual list voted on by the NFL players and announced on NFL Network.

The first round pick from 2017 has made the All-Pro team twice (second team in 2018 and first team in 2019) in his young career and was graded as the best offensive tackle by Pro Football Focus last year. In fact, Ramczyk allowed exactly zero sacks last year and has played in every game of his career except for the last game of the 2018 season when the Saints rested their starters for the playoffs.
Some might argue that Ramczyk is too low on this list and a pair of Packers offensive linemen help breakdown his game in the video below to make the case that he should be higher.

The Saints tied the Baltimore Ravens for the most representatives on this year’s NFL Top 100 list with seven selections. There should be a few more Badgers on the list as well and we will certainly keep you posted as the rest of the players are announced.
