One of the awesome perks of writing about college sports recruiting is knowing random dates on the “recruiting calendar.” June 15th is the first day that college basketball coaches can reach out to rising juniors and I know that because my brain is jammed with useless information. So, if you follow any recruiting accounts on Twitter, that’s why they were all talking about which schools were contacting which prospects.
Here is who the Wisconsin Badgers and Greg Gard were talking to today:
Unranked, SG, 6-foot-3, 175 pounds, Mount Clemens, Mich.
Has offers from: Arizona State, DePaul, Texas A&M, Washington State
2022 4⭐️ Javaughn Hannah has heard from the following programs since the direct contact period commenced:— Endless Motor Sports (@endless_motor) June 15, 2020
Michigan has locked in a Zoom call for later today as well. pic.twitter.com/scRjnSexBm
Looks like Hannah is going to be a top target for 2022 if Gard already had a call with him on the first contact day.
