The Wisconsin Badgers have been on a bit of a recruiting dry spell recently. Their last verbal commitment in the class of 2021 was 3-star RB Antwan Roberts, out of Tennessee, back in the middle of April. Wisconsin still has the No. 19 ranked class in the nation, as rated by the 247 Sports Composite, with 10 commits (three of whom are 4-stars).
One of the top remaining targets on Wisconsin’s board is 4-star TE Jack Pugh (Hilliard, Ohio) out of Hilliard Bradley High School. He is a 6-foot-5 and 235 pound rising senior that is high on the list of a number of teams in the country.
On Saturday morning, Pugh tweeted that he would be announcing his commitment on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. CST. He originally said that he’d be doing it on Tuesday but then corrected himself.
Sorry for the miscommunication , it will be moved to MONDAY AT 3:00pm ET! https://t.co/AfXx6x362X

The other five teams that Pugh had in his top-six list are Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. Of those schools, it is thought that Penn State poses the biggest threat to the Badgers, who currently hold 100% of the Crystal Ball predictions on 247 Sports. Pugh is ranked as the No. 12 tight end and No. 326 player in the nation by the 247 Sports Composite.
Evan Flood at 247 Sports mentioned that Pugh took a visit (not in any sort of official capacity) to Penn State on Friday. Due to the recruiting dead period, Pugh was not allowed to speak to any Nittany Lions coaches but he did tour around the campus.
We will have coverage for you on Monday regarding Pugh’s commitment, so keep it locked on B5Q this holiday weekend.
