Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly (or more often since we are in Uncertain Times and there aren’t actual sports going on) post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!

New offer

  • 2022 4-star (247 and Rivals standalone) WR Kojo Antwi (Suwanee, Ga.) out of Lambert High School is the latest top-rated wideout to receive an offer from the Wisconsin Badgers and coach Alvis Whitted. Antwi has over 20 offers already, including Arizona State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Florida State, Minnesota, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and others.

The 6-foot-1 and 185 pound wide receiver is rated as the No. 240 player in the country, No. 32 WR and No. 15 player in the state of Georgia by 247 Sports. As a sophomore at Lambert, Antwi caught 48 passes for 679 yards and six touchdowns.

Antwi has speed to burn and also shows excellent ability after the catch. There are a couple of highlights where he runs a short hitch route and turns six yards into 60+ yard touchdowns.

Over the past month Antwi has received a dozen offers, all from Power 5 schools, and one would imagine that his recruitment will only continue to heat up if he has a productive junior season.
