Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
New offer
- 2021 3-star TE Miles Campbell (Douglasville, Ga.) out of South Paulding High School earned an offer from the Wisconsin Badgers on Friday afternoon, according to his personal Twitter account.

The 6-foot-3 and 225 pound tight end is considered a Florida State lean by 247 Sports but also has offers from Georgia Tech, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and a number of other schools.
He is rated as the No. 474 player in the country, No. 17 TE and No. 37 player in the state of Georgia by the 247 Composite. Rivals has him as a 3-star, rated 5.7, and the No. 16 TE in the country.
According to his Hudl tape, he had 54 catches for 720 total yards and nine touchdowns last season. I don’t know how technically sound he is as a blocker, but his tape certainly shows him to be a willing one.
He also is able to line up out wide and make people miss after the catch.
Campbell is a nice looking player, but it is odd that the Badgers would offer another tight end in this class when they already seem to be in pretty good shape with a couple of different ones. Campbell also plays OLB for his high school team, but the Badgers have a number of superior prospects on their radar for that position too.
