Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!

Badgers out for 3-star WR

  • On Friday afternoon, 2021 3-star WR Jaylin Noel (Kansas City, Mo.) of Park Hill High School announced the top-two schools he’d be focusing on moving forward. If you can’t read the embedded tweet below, Noel is only considering Iowa State and Nebraska for now.

Noel was considered to be a top of the board target for the Badgers when Ted Gilmore was still the wide receivers coach but it would appear that new wide receivers coach Alvis Whitted may be looking in a different direction.

Noel is ranked as the No. 109 WR in the 2021 class by the 247 Composite. Looks like Belz and I are going to have to go and readjust our Build-A-Badger rosters again smdh.

Badgers showing love, as the kids say

  • 2021 3-star CB Ricardo Hallman (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) out of University School has been a major focus of Jim Leonhard’s recruiting efforts in the 2021 class. On Thursday morning, Hallman tweeted out a cool graphic that the Badgers had sent him on the day of the NFL Draft.

In this future that the graphic predicts, the Badgers and Hallman have done very well for themselves. Let’s hope it comes to pass.
