Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
New cut down list
- 2021 5-star OT Nolan Rucci (Lititz, Pa.) of Warwick High School released his top-nine schools on Monday. The No. 13 player in the nation has a list of Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford, Notre Dame and the Badgers, in case the embedded tweet doesn’t show up for you.

That’s quite the list, but by all accounts the Badgers are still right in the thick of things for Rucci with Penn State, where his dad went to school, and Clemson rounding out an assumed top-three.
His older brother, Wisconsin Badgers TE Hayden Rucci, is really pulling out all of the stops in his recruitment of his little brother. Can Hayden still beat up Nolan? I think by the Laws of Older Brother he can, even though Nolan is now bigger than him.

New cut down list coming soon
- 2022 4-star S Cristian Driver (Argyle, Texas) of Liberty Christian High School will be announcing a top-12 schools list soon.
Top 12 coming soon!! @car20ruiz @RossRoby1 @StevenGreek1 @JWPSports @Donald_Driver80 pic.twitter.com/QemBDtldU3

The son of former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, Cristian has recently received offers from Florida State, Michigan State and Nebraska. He has around 35 total offers to sort through and hopefully the Badgers can make the cut for the promising defensive back.
