Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!

We will have a post up on Friday with a collection of players that we hear will be attending Wisconsin’s Junior Day on Saturday.

  • 2021 3-star DE Travali Price (Lincolnton, N.C.) of North Lincoln High School was offered by the Badgers earlier this week. In 247 Sports standalone rankings, Price is a low 4-star prospect and has been offered by 22 other schools so far, including Oklahoma, Penn State, Louisville, South Carolina, Arizona State, Tennessee, UCF, Duke, UNC, NC State, Ole Miss and a whole host of others.

Price is ranked as the No. 19 WDE in the country and the No. 352 player in the country, regardless of position, by the 247 Composite.

The 6-foot-4 and 245 pound d-lineman’s Hudl video shows him getting pressure on the quarterback with regularity. There were also a couple of nice plays where Price was able to make a tackle out wide after a quick wide receiver screen type play. You love to see that in your defensive linemen tbqh.

It is tough to say where Wisconsin is in Price’s recruitment, but hopefully they can get him on campus this summer or fall and show him all Madison has to offer.
