Alright, the 2020 bowl season is upon us. With that in mind, we at B5Q decided it might be a little fun to look at some prop bets for the Badgers upcoming bowl game against Wake Forest.
With the game being put on by Duke’s Mayo and 2020 being wacky as hell already, why not. Without further ado, here is a six-pack of prop bets to keep an eye out for on Wednesday.

#1: Did you know that Jake Ferguson is the grandson of Barry Alvarez?!?!?!?
Ok, but seriously this has been brought up in each telecast this season at some point or another. Now the major question will be WHEN it will happen. This has been a running joke for some time, and it has reached the same status as Jonathan Taylor used to run track in high school. Put in your votes below...

#2: Did you know that Garrett Groshek used to play quarterback?
After Garrett Groshek had a huge game against Minnesota, there is a solid chance that the broadcast crew is going to do some digging on him. Wisconsin fans have heard about GG being a former high school quarterback on multiple occasions, as well as the fact that he recently was married in the off-season. But did you know that he cut his mullet now too? Let’s look at which of these facts will pop up during the broadcast.

#3: Which former Wake Forest graduate will be mentioned first?
Wake Forest is a fairly small private school, but they have had some very memorable alumni. Let’s take a guess at which former Demon Deacon is called out first.

#4: How many mayo puns occur in the broadcast?
There’s a good chance that the broadcast crew really lathers it on thick in this one. With such a unique sponsor, there is bound to be a pun or two thrown in there, especially with Marty Smith slated to be on the sidelines.

#5: What type of clothing will Paul Chryst wear to cover his torso?
Lets be honest, this is always the biggest question heading into any bowl game since Paul Chryst has taken over as head coach. Paul usually goes with a crew neck, but sometimes he’s feeling a little crazy and goes with the hoodie. Will it be a bowl specific sweatshirt? Will he go totally off the grid and throw everyone off with a quarter zip? Ahh the possibilities.

#6: Will Chris Orr or Natrell Jamerson be in attendance?
While no fans will be allowed at the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, N.C., surely an allowance would be made for two former Badgers, who now play for the Carolina Panthers, to watch the game from a safe distance, right? Or at least one of them?
