The Badgers officially signed another key piece in their 2021 class this morning in 3-star linebacker Darryl Peterson.
The three-star recruit comes out of Ohio powerhouse Archbishop Hoban (former home of Quan Easterling), where he ended an illustrious high school career this season with a state title and an all-area defensive player of the year award.

The Akron native’s tape is as impressive as any, and it’s clear Peterson has a knack for getting into the backfield and creating chaos. While it remains to be seen how he’ll handle the increased pass coverage duties that will come with a move to the next level, his tendency to put opposition quarterbacks on the ground gives him as much upside as any other player in the class.
