S 6-foot-1 190 pounds Muskego High School 4 star, No. 13 S

The highest rated in-state defensive back in the internet rankings era is one of the top members of this historic recruiting class. Wohler was the primary target of defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, and it paid off when he committed last December.

Wohler has won the last three state championships at Muskego, and has arguably been the best/most impactful player in the state during that time. Playing free safety in Muskego’s 3-3-5 defense, Wohler has been all over the field in coverage and in run support. He even returned kicks at times as a senior.

Wohler should push for early playing time in a secondary that has become more upper classmen heavy over the past two seasons.

Verbally committed on December 23, 2019

The Badgers were hot after Wohler’s services early and often in his recruitment, with defensive coordinator and former NFL safety Jim Leonhard putting in the leg work, and it paid off when Wohler jumped in as a member of the Badgers’ record setting recruiting class.

Wohler chose Wisconsin over other offers from Georgia Tech, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Stanford.

One of three defensive backs in the class, Wohler is the only safety, after previously 2022 commit Braelon Allen was potentially switched from safety to inside linebacker after reclassifying to the 2021 class.
