It was a big news day in the college basketball world on Monday. The preseason AP top-25 was released, where the Wisconsin Badgers were ranked No. 7, and the Big 10 Conference announced their 10-man preseason all-conference team, which Badgers senior forward Nate Reuvers made.

Illinois and Iowa each have two players on the list, while eight schools are represented overall. Here is the list for those who can’t see the embedded tweet:

Kofi Cockburn, Sophomore Center, Illinois
Trayce Jackson-Davis, Sophomore Forward, Indiana
Joe Wieskamp, Junior Guard/Forward, Iowa
Aaron Henry, Junior Forward, Michigan State
Marcus Carr, Junior Guard, Minnesota
Trevion Williams, Junior Forward, Purdue
Geo Baker, Senior Guard, Rutgers
Nate Reuvers, Senior Forward, Wisconsin

The players in all caps were unanimous selections. Luka Garza was also selected as the preseason player of the year for the B1G.

Reuvers was named to the third-team by the media last season after averaging 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 0.6 assists per game. He was first on the team in both scoring and blocks while finishing second in rebounds. For his career, Reuvers is tied for third on the all-time Wisconsin blocks list, with 144, and needs just 11 blocks to pass Ethan Happ for first.
