The Wisconsin Badgers suffered their first loss of the 2020 football season on Saturday. On Sunday the updated rankings dropped the Badgers considerably.
Wisconsin now sits at No. 20 in the newest Coaches Poll, and No. 18 in the AP Poll.
Now that we have where the Badgers sit, let’s take a look at what else is noteworthy in the recently released rankings.

- Ohio State —> No. 3 Coaches Poll, No. 3 AP Poll
- Indiana —> No. 12 Coaches Poll, No. 12 AP Poll
- Northwestern —> No. 13 Coaches Poll, No. 11 AP Poll

Nationwide musings
- The top-8 of each major poll went unchanged after none of the squads lost over the weekend.
- Wisconsin and Oklahoma State fell the furthest in the newest rankings after losing their big conference matchups Saturday.
- The Big-12 does not have a team in the top-10, but they have four teams in the bottom half of the rankings.
- On the flip side, the SEC has four teams in the top half of the polls.
