While in internet terms I am extremely old, I am not so old in real life that I remember much of the Badgers kicking off at 1 p.m. local time. As someone who suffered through myriad 11 a.m. kicks, I would’ve loved to have a few early afternoon games sprinkled in there when, you know, Eastern Michigan or regular Michigan came to town.
Ahh, a throwback kickoff time. If I had a dollar for every time Bucky had a 1 p.m. kickoff when I was in school there, I could've paid off my $620 first-semester freshman year tuition in a hurry!! ;) https://t.co/47tFesVk1E

The Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Golden Gophers have played 129 times in football, the most of any rivalry in the history of college football. The Badgers lead the all-time series 61-60-8 and have a current win steak of one after beating the No. 8 Gophers in Minneapolis last year, 38-17.
You may also remember that Wisconsin has won 15 of the last 16 meetings between these two teams, but it’s always nice for a refresher. It will certainly be weird for this to be Wisconsin’s fourth game of the season but as I’ve always said, “there is no wrong week to beat the Gophers in any sport.”
