Plus: T.J. Watt is having an amazing season, Sam Dekker is stroking it from deep and we look at Northwestern’s defense.

Good morning! This is going to be a daily(ish) post that discusses the goings on of the rest of the Big Ten Conference, and the country as needed. Much like the European Union, the Big Ten is a loosely confederated group of entities that sometimes have the same goals (like free movement of people between countries or not winning national titles in football or basketball) and sometimes accept new members that they later regret (Estonia or Rutgers).

We hope that you will use this post to comment on things happening around the conference and also as a sort of daily open thread to discuss breaking news or argue about Spotted Cow (which we NO LONGER DO).

  • T.J. Watt is well on his way to having a pretty special season for the Steelers.
  • Sam Dekker’s three point stroke is looking a little different and, uh, it’s working for him.
  • The Edmonton Oilers are pleased with the play of their most recent first round pick, Dylan Holloway, who scored a goal in each of Wisconsin’s first two games in their sweep of No. 20 Notre Dame.
  • I’ve watched this replay a bunch of times and I still don’t know what Joe Milton saw here.
  • Is it time for Michigan to make a change at head coach? The Wolverines fan base seems to be divided but there is a LOUD section that wants Harbaugh out.
  • I don’t know if you were watching the BU/TT game, however this tackle is too amazing to miss.
