Over the course of the last few months we’ve had installments that took a deep dive into each athlete on the Wisconsin football and men’s basketball team. Every day we had a new player that took the spotlight and we got to know him a little bit better. We learned about their background, their recruitment and what made them the special athletes they are today.

Now, with both of those series wrapped up, we decided to take a look at the people behind each of those posts. Yes, that’s right, the humble and handsome blogger. In this series you’ll get to know the keyboard warriors that give you sports opinions, beer takes, mascot rankings and reality show recaps. It’s not an easy job, or a hard one, but someone has to do it. (Editor’s note: do we?)

Tell us about yourself….

Favorite article/accomplishment with B5Q?

I would have to say putting together the Bucky’s Fan Favorite Tournament with Drew, and then some random troll knocking out Frank Kaminsky in round one with bot votes.

Favorite Wisconsin sports memory?

There are a lot of possibilities here, but I will say the “Dayne game.” Watching him break the rushing record and waving the 33 towel in the crowd as the Badgers beat down Iowa to clinch a Rose Bowl berth was a thing of beauty.

Go to drink of choice?

I love craft beer. Give me a good Belgian quad, a boozy stout, hoppy IPA, or really anything seasonal and I am happy.

You get one album to listen to for the rest of your life, what are you choosing and why?

ONE!?!?! I am all over the board in terms of music tastes, but I will go with All Eyez on Me by 2Pac. The entire album is a great listen from top to bottom, and it delivers 27 songs to choose from.

Favorite book? I’ll stay in my lane and go with a sports book. I enjoyed The System: The Glory and Scandal of Big-Time College Football by Armen Keteyian and Jeff Benedict

Movie? The original Toy Story

Television show? Breaking Bad

Hypotheticals?

If money wasn’t a concern where would you live, what would you do, and what would your lifestyle look like?

I would for sure live in Maui. My wife and I took our honeymoon to Hawaii and it was a blast. Not only can you relax on the beach and eat great food, but the time zone provides the perfect recipe for watching sports. The “noon” college football games are bright and early, and the primetime games are done early enough that you still have the rest of your night to enjoy.

If you could get a ticket to any show or event, what would you want a ticket to?

Probably the Super Bowl whenever the Packers find their way back there.

If you were a fashion icon and whatever you wore would become a fashion trend, what fashion trends would you start?

Paul Chryst’s crew neck and shorts combo...duh.
