The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team is currently on a recruiting, how do I put this, heater.
On Sunday evening, 247 Composite 4-star PG Chucky Hepburn (Bellevue, Neb.) verbally committed to Greg Gard and the Badgers after officially visiting Madison on his official visit over the weekend.

Hepburn joins 3-star Schaumburg, Ill. big man Chris Hodges in the 2021 class. The Bellevue West point guard also had offers from Nebraska, Creighton, Minnesota, Loyola (IL) and Valparaiso. He was receiving interest from Iowa, Purdue, Oregon, Arizona State and others as well.
He is rated as the No. 125 player, and No. 28 point guard, by Rivals and the No. 142 player, and No. 20 point guard, by 247. Hepburn was in Madison over the weekend with 4-star 2021 South Dakota forward Matthew Mors, a close friend of his, who was expected to be the player that commits.
Hepburn was offered a scholarship back in June and had been considered likely to stay in state at Nebraska or Creighton before visiting Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-1 floor general show a willingness to take the ball into the paint and attack the basket while also having the ability to distribute to his teammates.
The part that probably impressed coaches the most is the fact that he included taking a charge on his highlight video. Hepburn averaged just over 18 points and five assists last year for his high school team.
