The newest AVCA Coaches Poll is out for volleyball and the Wisconsin Badgers (4-4) fell from the top-10 to No. 13 after losing both legs of a home and home against the Washington Huskies (9-1), who are now ranked No. 8.

The Badgers are one of six Big Ten teams ranked in the newest poll. The Nebraska Cornhuskers dropped from No. 1 to No. 3 after losing to new No. 1 Stanford, Penn State is No. 5, Minnesota is No. 7, the Badgers are at No. 13, Purdue slots in at No. 15 and Illinois is right there at No. 20.
Per usual, the B1G and the Pac-12 are the two conferences dominating the rankings as the Pac-12 also has six representatives on the list.
I will admit to being a bit puzzled as to how a team that is 4-4 is still ranked No. 13 in the country ahead of even a Cal team that is 10-0, but it would appear that the voters are giving the Badgers credit for playing a daunting non-conference schedule.
The Badgers now turn their attention to conference play and will try and right the ship after an up and down non-conference run.
Our conference.
