I know hockey has been in a multi year slump and the NHL draft was overshadowed by the NBA draft and the news that Ethan Happ and his layup range went undrafted.... but the Badgers had a very strong draft this year.

Incoming C Alex Turcotte was drafted 5th overall (highest drafted player committed to an NCAA team) and incoming RW Cole Caufield was drafted 15th overall. Both players are coming from the USNTDP and hopefully that pipeline remains open going forward.
