GAME THREAD: Wisconsin vs. Ohio State

A lot on the line in the regular season finale!

Dan Sanger

The regular season finale holds much significance for the No. 21 for the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday afternoon inside the Value City Arena.

A win for Wisconsin (21-9, 13-6 Big Ten) against the Ohio State Buckeyes clinches the much coveted double bye as the No. 4 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament. A loss allows Maryland to slide in to that slot and gives the Terps the extra day’s rest.

For Ohio State (18-12, 8-11), the absence of sophomore forward Kaleb Wesson has stunted its offensive production the last two games, as the Buckeyes have scored 51 and 50 points against Purdue and Northwestern, respectively.

In those two consecutive losses, the Buckeyes have connected on just 29.4 percent of their shots overall (33-of-112), including only making 10 of 50 field goal attempts (20 percent) collectively in the first half of both losses.
