MADISON—We are just about a half hour from tip-off here at the Kohl Center, as No. 24 Wisconsin will host No. 21 Maryland on Friday night.
Wisconsin (15-6, 7-3 Big Ten) comes off a road victory against Nebraska on Tuesday night. For that matter, Maryland (18-5, 8-3) defeated Northwestern at home earlier this week heading into tonight’s match-up.
On Jan. 14, the Terps pulled off a 64-60 win over the Badgers in College Park, Md. UW overcame a 15-point first half to take a one-point lead late before Maryland’s Anthony Cowan Jr. hit a three-pointer with 44 seconds remaining that allowed Mark Turgeon’s squad to retake the advantage for good.
Can the Badgers return the favor, get the home victory, and take sole possession of fourth place in the Big Ten tonight?
