Recruiting is the lifeblood of any major college athletics team, but following it closely as a fan can sometimes be difficult and can often be time consuming. We’ll try and condense all the recruiting news you can use into this bi-weekly post. It’ll include updates on current commits, including stats from their high school games, as well as news on players the Badgers are still pursuing. Let’s get down to business!
Basketball recruiting updates
- 2021 4-star PG Chucky Hepburn (Bellevue, Neb.) is more than just a distributor. When’s the last time you saw a Wisconsin point guard do that in a game or, hell, even practice?

- 2020 3-star big man Steven Crowl (Saint Paul, Minn.) continues to impress for Eastview early in the season.
Steven Crowl with 34 points and Ryan Thissen with 27 to lead Eastview to a 86-72 win over Chaska. #EVRelentless

I really like the way Crowl avoided the double team here, spun baseline and then finished with two hands. Good awareness in all facets of the game there.
WITH TWO HANDS! @steven_crowl and the @EVBoysHoops muscle their way to a lead over Chaska.

Football recruiting updates
- 2020 4-star RB target Kevontre Bradford (Lancaster, Texas) got a nice little ratings bump on Rivals. The Badgers are still very much in the hunt for Bradford, and the most recent prediction on Rivals (from their Ole Miss writer) is for Wisconsin so we’ll see what happens. With Rutgers hiring Greg Schiano, making Jalen Berger a less likely commit to Wisconsin, Bradford may now be the undisputed top RB on the board for Paul Chryst.
A notable new addition into #Rivals250 for 2020 is RB Tre Bradford, who has been absolutely brilliant during Lancaster's postseason surgehttps://t.co/9MX9VBtZ4g pic.twitter.com/YeI3jDKmZ5

- 2020 4-star OT Trey Wedig (Wales, Wis.) is now the No. 88 player overall on Rivals. A nice feather in the cap for a player many hope will be the next great Wisconsin offensive lineman.
