CB 5-foot-11 170 Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, Colo.) 3 stars; No. 105 CB

Pure athlete is the words that come to mind for the Pine Creek, Colorado cornerback. Lofy led Pine Creek High School to the Colorado 4A State championship this past Fall. In addition to that, Lofy has participated in both track and baseball during his time at Pine Creek.

Lofy comes into Wisconsin as the lone cornerback recruited to the class of 2020. At 5’11” Lofy possess good size for a cornerback in today’s game. However, what really stands out is his speed. According to athletic.net, Lofy ran a 10.85 100 meter dash in 2019 and currently holds the school record at Pine Creek.

In his latest highlight tape, Lofy shows both of those skills and uses them to his advantage to make plays on the football. Cornerbacks need to be aggressive by nature, and his size and speed combo allows him to do just that and make plays in the secondary. With the defensive back focused mind of Jim Leonhard, Lofy could develop to a really solid corner as the lone defensive back in the 2020 class.
