OG | 6-foot-4 | 270 | Kewaunee High School (Kewaunee, WI) | 3-star; No. 74 OG |
Standing at 6-foot-4 inches tall, Bortolini projected to any position along the offensive line depending on the program. With the Badgers it appears that he will start out along the interior of the line at either guard or center.
An athletic interior lineman, Bortolini will bring some nice pulling ability, and plenty of room to fill out his frame. He is a player that is still in the early stages of developing on the offensive line, but after a season or two in the program, he should be a nice piece to bolster the line as a starter or interior swing player.

Verbally committed on May 28, 2019
After not receiving an early offer Wisconsin in 2018, Tanor Bortolini rightfully may have figured that an offer from the in-state school was out of the question. At the tail end of May however, Wisconsin would ultimately come through and offer the offensive line stand out.
Boasting 22 total offers from Miami, Syracuse, Iowa, Temple, Air Force, and a host of MAC and FCS schools, Bortolini was a hot commodity on the trail. In the end though, he would commit to the Badgers a mere 10 days after being offered.
Bortolini’s commitment marked the fifth and final scholarship offensive lineman in the 2020 class, joining Trey Wedig, Jack Nelson, Dylan Barrett, and Ben Barten.
