The No. 4 seeded Wisconsin Badgers swept the No. 13 seeded Texas A&M Aggies on Friday afternoon to make it to the Elite 8 and earn a third date with the No. 5 seeded Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday evening at the Field House in Madison.
Nebraska was able to dispatch the No. 12 seeded Hawaii Warriors on Friday evening to get their third crack at the Badgers this season. You may remember that Wisconsin has swept Nebraska not once, but twice, this year and will be looking to make it nine sets out of nine on Saturday.
The Cornhuskers get the sweep!

Fun facts
- Wisconsin advances to its 10th NCAA Regional Final, including fifth in the last seven years under head coach Kelly Sheffield.
- Junior Sydney Hilley tallied 44 assists in the match, becoming the sixth UW setter and the 51st Big Ten player to tally 4,000 assists in a career.
- Wisconsin upped its home-match winning streak to 13 matches with Friday’s win.
- The Badgers also haven’t lost a set to the Huskers all season. I think that’s important to note here.
