The Wisconsin Badgers received a verbal commitment on Friday afternoon from 2021 3-star LB Bryan Sanborn (Lake Zurich, Ill.) out of Lake Zurich High School. If that last name and city in Illinois sounds familiar it is because he is the younger brother of current Badgers linebacker Jack Sanborn.

Sanborn had offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Nebraska, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Virginia and others.
This is Wisconsin’s sixth commitment in the 2021 class which is a great head start for the program as the head into the Early Signing Period for the 2020 class on December 18th. He is rated as the No. 357 player in the nation by the 247 Composite and the No. 13 ILB. He is rated as a 4-star prospect by 247 Sports and the No. 8 ILB and he’s a high 3-star prospect on Rivals.
The 6-foot-2 and 210 pound linebacker is the first commitment on the defensive side of the ball for the Badgers in 2021 and joins QB Deacon Hill, RB Loyal Crawford, RB Jackson Acker, OT Riley Mahlman and OT JP Benzschawel.
We will have much more recruiting content coming in the next few days.
