The No. 12 (CFP) Wisconsin Badgers (8-2 overall, 5-2 B1G) have the week off from #TrophySZN, but are still in the thick of their B1G West November gauntlet. Wisconsin has already knocked off Iowa and Nebraska this month and will be looking to push their winning streak to three against the Purdue Boilermakers (4-6 overall, 3-4 B1G) on Saturday afternoon.
The injury depleted Boilermakers are also on a two-game winning streak, having squeaked past Nebraska and Northwestern thanks to Aidan O’Connell game-winning drives, and need to beat the Badgers to keep their bowl hopes alive.
Wisconsin is favored to win this one but have often struggled on Senior Day (as noted by BradNortmansActingCoach in this comment) and need to shore up their defense before traveling to Minneapolis next weekend for the Axe game.
Here are the staff predictions for the game:
Bob: 38-3, Wisconsin
Ryan: 34-10, Wisconsin
Tyler: 38-13, Wisconsin
Owen: 31-13, Wisconsin
Belz: 42-10, Wisconsin
Neal: 35-21, Wisconsin
Rock: 41-6, Wisconsin
Drew: 45-17, Wisconsin
Kevin: 31-7, Wisconsin
We’ve all got the Badgers taking this matchup and Bob has the women’s soccer game ending 1-1 with Wisconsin advancing on penalties (just wanted to have this noted even though the game happened Friday night, I’m writing this before the game started).
Will Jonathan Taylor have another 200+ yard performance? Will the defense get back on track? Will Purdue keep it close, like they did last season? Let us know your thoughts and predictions in the comments!
