B5Q Blogopean Union: Zack Baun is chatting shit

Plus: Micah Potter is getting another chance with the NCAA; the women’s soccer team has their NCAA Tournament path; and D’Mitrik Trice looks like Harry Potter.

Good morning! This is going to be a daily(ish) post that discusses the goings on of the rest of the Big Ten Conference, and the country as needed. Much like the European Union, the Big Ten is a loosely confederated group of entities that sometimes have the same goals (like free movement of people between countries or not winning national titles in football or basketball) and sometimes accept new members that they later regret (Estonia or Rutgers).

We hope that you will use this post to comment on things happening around the conference and also as a sort of daily open thread to discuss breaking news or argue about Spotted Cow.

  • WHO SAYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS AREN’T TOUGH!?!
  • The NCAA has a chance to do what is right and allow Micah Potter to play. What are the chances they do it? I’m saying 5%.
  • Bob is going to have an NCAA Tournament preview post coming later this week but for now here are the details for the Badgers first round matchup.
  • 250 rushing yards against Iowa is like 400 rushing yards against most other teams.
  • Show me the lie.
  • Hopefully Jack Berry is able to recover quickly and get back on the ice.
  • Joe Lunardi has the Badgers...IN THE TOURNAMENT AFTER ONE WEEK!
  • Former Badgers still dominating on the ice.
  • Eyes on the prize.

Iowa 78 - DePaul 93 (yikes)
