The Wisconsin Badgers sit at 6-0 halfway through their schedule. That is six wins and zero losses, but presumably the six teams they have already beaten have won other games...right? It would really make the Badgers look better if these teams won some games.
Let’s see if they have!
Result vs. Wisconsin: 49-0, loss
Current record: 3-3 overall, 1-1 AAC
Best win: The Bulls beat BYU, 27-23, on Saturday! That’s two wins in a row!
Are they going to make a bowl: Well...they might only be favored to win one of their remaining games soooooooo probably not.
Result vs. Wisconsin: 61-0, loss
Current record: 4-3 overall, 2-1 MAC
Best win: In the battle for Directional Michigan supremacy, CMU beat EMU 42-16 last weekend. Now, the Chips are second in their division and only need two more wins to be bowl eligible!
Are they going to make a bowl: The next three games on their schedule are against teams with losing records (Bowling Green, Buffalo and Northern Illinois) so the Chips could wrap up a bowl bid by the first weekend in November.
Result vs. Wisconsin: 35-14, loss
Current record: 5-1 overall, 3-1 B1G
Best win: In maybe the worst game of the season, Michigan beat No. 14 Iowa 10-3 last weekend. Puke. Why would you make me remember that game?
Are they going to make a bowl: The Wolverines will not be favored in their next two games against Penn State and Notre Dame, but I guess they’ll beat Maryland and become bowl eligible.
Result vs. Wisconsin: 24-15, loss
Current record: 1-4 overall, 0-3 B1G
Best win: By default, Northwestern’s best win is against UNLV...the sixth best team in the Mountain West Mountain division.
Are they going to make a bowl: I’m going to go out on a limb and say no. Northwestern will not be making a bowl this year.
Result vs. Wisconsin: 48-0, loss
Current record: 3-3 overall, 2-0 MAC
Best win: Bowling Green, I guess?
Are they going to make a bowl: Yeah? Probably. Maybe? Who the hell knows.
Result vs. Wisconsin: 38-0, loss
Current record: 4-3 overall, 2-2 B1G
Best win: Oh man...MSU does NOT have any good wins. Indiana has to be their best win I think.
Are they going to make a bowl: With Illinois, Rutgers and Maryland still on the schedule I have to assume that the Spartans will squeak two wins out of those three games.
