Wisconsin offers 2020 WR Chimere Dike, OLB Cole Dakovich

A couple of in-state standouts receive offers from the Badgers.

The Wisconsin Badgers coaching staff continues to hand out offers for the 2020 class, and on Saturday, two in-state standouts tweeted out opportunities to play for the cardinal and white.

Wide receiver Chimere Dike and WR/OLB Cole Dakovich both announced offers from Wisconsin, the lone Division I football program in the state, on Saturday afternoon.

Rivals/BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara and 247Sports’ Evan Flood noted Dike and Dakovich visited on Saturday with an apparent “Junior Day” hosted by UW.

247Sports rates Dike as a three-star prospect who hails from Waukesha, Wis. (North). According to WisSports.Net, Dike caught 79 passes for 1,091 yards and 12 touchdowns claiming WFCA large school all-state honors last season.

Dike’s recruiting process seems to be heating up in 2019, as he also received an offer from Iowa State on Jan. 10.

OLB Cole Dakovich

From Waukesha, Wis. (Catholic Memorial), Dakovich—currently listed as an unrated outside linebacker by 247Sports and Rivals —received his first offer on Saturday.

According to WisSports.net, Dakovich recorded 105 tackles, 18 for loss along with two sacks and two interceptions last season. He also caught 16 passes for 150 yards with a touchdown for the WIAA Division III champs on way to a WFCA large school all-state honorable mention selection.
