Two Big Ten teams and an SEC program make the final three for Springfield, Ohio, defensive lineman Isaiah Gibson.
Gibson, a class of 2019 recruit, released his top three on Thursday morning with Wisconsin, Purdue, and Kentucky making the cut. He is a three-star prospect by both 247Sports (composite and standalone), ESPN, and Rivals. The Ohio product officially visited Wisconsin back on June 1, the same weekend that produced verbal commitments from three-star cornerbacks Dean Engram and James Williams.
Back on July 4, Gibson released a final five, which Wisconsin also was in. However, offers from Georgia and Florida surfaced during the summer for the No. 35 defensive tackle in the nation (according to 247Sports composite).
Both the Bulldogs and Gators were left out of Gibson’s final three, however.
According to his Twitter profile’s pinned tweet, Gibson will announce his commitment on Sept. 19, just under two weeks from now.
