Following their bye week, the Wisconsin Badgers found themselves moving up in the Week 6 Amway Coaches Poll that was released on Sunday afternoon. However, they dropped in the AP Top 25 that was released slightly later in the day.
Wisconsin (3–1, 1–0 Big Ten) bumped up one slot to No. 12 in the coaches poll and fell one spot to No. 16 in the AP poll.
In the coaches poll, Ohio State (No. 3, up one spot), Penn State (No. 11, down two spots), Wisconsin, Michigan (No. 16, down one spot), and Michigan State (No. 19, down one spot) represent the Big Ten.
In the AP poll, Ohio State (No. 3, up one spot), Penn State (No. 11, down two spots), Michigan (No. 15, down one spot), Wisconsin, and Michigan State (No. 20, up one spot) rep the conference.
Wisconsin dropped a spot in Bill Connelly’s S&P+ rankings to No. 13.
