The Wisconsin Badgers will have a primetime showcase in one of the Big Ten’s toughest stadiums for their conference opener later this month.

As announced by Iowa and Wisconsin on Monday, the Hawkeyes and Badgers will face off under the lights of Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 22 with a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff. FOX will broadcast the game.

Most college football fans are familiar with the Kinnick mystique. Last year, the Hawkeyes dismantled then-No. 3 Ohio State 55–24 there. Earlier in the season, then-No. 4 Penn State need last-play heroics to upend the Hawkeyes 21–19.

However, Wisconsin has had recent success at Iowa, winning its last four inside Kinnick dating back to 2010.

According to UW’s records, Wisconsin is 43–33 in designated night games (15–6 home, 21–21 away, 7–6 neutral). The Badgers currently hold a 46–43–2 overall record against the Hawkeyes entering this season.
