The Wisconsin Badgers continue to rack up preseason accolades.

On Monday, running back Jonathan Taylor and linebacker T.J. Edwards were named to the Big Ten preseason honors list for 2018. The conference released the list shortly after the beginning of Big Ten media days in Chicago. The list honors five players from both the West and East divisions.

With the nominations, Edwards and Taylor continue to bolster their preseason résumés. The Big Ten nomination comes just days after Taylor was named to the Maxwell Award watch list and the Doak Walker Award watch list. Edwards was named to the Butkus Award watch list and the Bednarik Award watch list last week.

The nominations don’t come as a surprise, as Edwards and Taylor were arguably Wisconsin’s two most important players last season. Taylor is fresh off a 1,900-yard season that landed him sixth in the Heisman Trophy voting, while Edwards returns looking to follow up a 2017 season that earned him consensus first-team All Big-Ten honors and All-American nods by AP, ESPN, and USA Today.
