With two verbal commitments for the Wisconsin Badgers for their 2019 football class already this week, it is only fair that the men’s basketball program got in on the action.
Lakeville, Minn. (North) recruit Tyler Wahl announced via Twitter on Thursday that he has verbally committed to Wisconsin.
Both 247Sports and Rivals designate him as a small forward, with the former rating him a four-star prospect, the No. 136 player in the country, and the No. 4 player in the state of Minnesota.
Wahl announced on April 23 that Wisconsin had offered him. According to 247Sports, he holds 13 offers in all, with Minnesota, Iowa State, Northwestern, and Butler, among others, pursuing his talents to play at the collegiate level.
He is the first commit for head coach Greg Gard’s class of 2019.
