For over a quarter-century, a tradition has evolved for the Wisconsin Badgers that will continue once again for the upcoming football season, as the university announced on Tuesday that undergraduate student season tickets sold out for 2018.
That marks the 26th consecutive season UW will see undergrads cheer from sections J through P inside Camp Randall Stadium, with the inevitable likelihood that sections O and P will continue to yell obscenities at each other.
On Tuesday, freshmen and sophomores purchased tickets after the upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) received their opportunities on Monday to attend the seven Wisconsin home games for the 2018 season.
Wisconsin will host three non-conference opponents—Western Kentucky (Aug. 31), New Mexico (Sept. 8) and BYU (Sept. 15)—along with Big Ten Conference foes Nebraska (Oct. 6), Illinois (Oct. 20 — Homecoming), Rutgers (Nov. 3) and Minnesota (Nov. 24).
As UW also noted, the morning of July 9th marks the time professional and graduate students (both returning and new) will be able to buy season tickets.
